Privacy policy

Nothing leaves your iPhone.

Health Import Tool has no account, no server and no analytics. There is nowhere for your data to go, and it does not go anywhere.

What the app reads

Your Apple Health workouts. With your permission, HIT reads the workouts already in Health. This is what lets it promise never to create a duplicate: it has to know what you have before it can tell what is missing. It reads workout dates, durations, distances, energy, and whether a route or heart-rate series is attached.

The file you give it. HIT reads the zip you choose. It takes a copy into its own storage so a long import can be resumed if it is interrupted, and deletes that copy when the import finishes.

What the app writes

With your permission, HIT writes the workouts from your export into Apple Health, along with their routes, heart rate, cadence and power where the files contain them. It writes nothing anywhere else.

What leaves your device

Nothing. HIT makes no network request other than to Apple's App Store, and only when you open the purchase screen or restore a purchase. There is no server to send anything to, no account to sign in to, and no analytics or crash-reporting service of any kind.

What is stored on your device

All of it stays on the device and is removed when you delete the app. Deleting the app does not remove workouts already written into Apple Health; those are yours, in Health, and are managed there.

Purchases

The one-off unlock is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles the payment. HIT never sees your payment details and receives only whether the purchase exists.

Children

HIT collects nothing, from anyone, of any age.
